An implant-supported bridge replaces several teeth in a row while leaving your other teeth untouched. After comfortable numbing, small openings are made in the jawbone and the implants are placed, and over several months the bone naturally fuses to each one in a process called osseointegration. Once the implants are integrated, an extension is attached to each and impressions are taken to fabricate a custom bridge that's cemented or screwed permanently into place.
