WatchImplant-Supported Bridge

Replace several teeth at once with an implant-supported bridge

An implant-supported bridge replaces several teeth in a row while leaving your other teeth untouched. That's its key advantage over a traditional bridge, which requires shaving down the healthy teeth on either side of the gap. Instead, an implant-supported bridge anchors to titanium posts placed directly in your jawbone, giving you a stable, natural-feeling way to replace them.

This video walks through the full procedure. After comfortable numbing, small openings are made in the jawbone and the implants are placed, and over several months the bone naturally fuses to each one in a process called osseointegration. Once the implants are integrated, an extension is attached to each and impressions are taken to fabricate a custom bridge that's cemented or screwed permanently into place.

The benefits stack up. The implants help preserve the jawbone that tends to resorb after tooth loss, the bridge keeps your remaining teeth from drifting into the gap, and the surrounding healthy teeth don't have to be cut down. With good home care and routine checkups, an implant-supported bridge can last a lifetime.
